Catblogging is so passe.

The above is true, to be sure. Catblogging, basically a modernized version of homepages with pictures of the writer’s cat, is everywhere. A weekly thing at some sites, a constant at others.
Wankery.
However, in the name of being a wanker myself, here’s a couple of pics Char and I took of our weirdest cat last night. Tell me, has anyone ever seen a cat do this?

…yup. Can’t top that one, either. Never in my life have I seen a cat so blase about water on his sacred feline person.
I’d never actually heard of catblogging as a phenomenon, but I’m rather less than stunned. There are enough people out there who dedicate entire Geoshitties pages to their cats; it was only a Matter of Time.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a soap-licker to fawn over…

You were, of course, whom I was thinking of when I posted that last line. Realistically, who else has cats that weird? I think, though, that in the long run Fritz is going to beat any comer for the title of wackiest cat in the world

Don’t bet on that wackiest cat thing yet, I still have a weird beast too. The advantage that Fritz has is that Ivan just loves water, my beast doesn’t have that trainer.

what’s great about those pictures is the fact that the kitty looks like he’s leaning on his forearm or his elbow. it makes him look like he’s the fat guy in the hot tub.

Once when it was really hot both of mine would curl up in the sink, although the water wasn’t running.

I want to photoshop in a little can of Bud on the sink ledge.
